Confucius lived 551-479 BC. He was a sage and philosopher. He was concerned about ethical behaviour at a governmental level and in personal relationships. He also believed in justice and sincerity (ie. honesty). As with Buddhism, there is no God in Confucianism but it shares with Christianity, righteousness, honesty, trustworthiness and above all, benevolence, compassion and humanity to others.
