If you look in a mirror and see your image, you realize the image in the mirror does not physically have the properties as you, the human, do. It is an image or picture. You are human ans substantially more complex. It is the same with a photograph. If you see a picture of yourself, you know you, the person, are considerably more complex in substance than the image of you on paper...So it is with God. We humans are a mere image of God. God is incomparably more complex than we are, in ways I'm sure we cannot fully grasp. Can the image on the photographic paper fully understand the human it depicts? Of course not. There is no reason to think we humans can fully grasp the full nature of God, in Whose Image we are made. God is perfect light, love, fullness, wisdom, etc...I run out of ways to describe Him because I am only human. God is sinless. Humans are sinful. God is perfect. Humans are imperfect. God is all goodness. We humans can only strive after goodness. God is all Light. We humans can only contain a tiny bit of that Light at times...God is timeless. We humans have a birth and death on earth, although our souls do go on to live forever. God is Creator of the entire universe. We humans can sometimes take the elements God gave us and rearrange them to come with a new little something or other....Humans can only strive after godliness. God has that down pat, fully and completely.
In Genesis 2:7 from the Bible, it is written that God formed man from the dust of the ground and breathed life into his nostrils, making him a living being.
God loves human being and He loves sinners. But God hates sins. Through our sins, sins act as a barrier between God and us. Human being fall sort of the Glory of God due to the sins. The wages of sins is eternal death. We cannot go to Heaven as we are sinners, Jesus came to restore the loss relationship and breaks the barrier between God and Human at the Cross of Calvary.
God is internal to man. He does not exist outside the mind of man. Actually, nothing exists outside the mind of man. But of course the answer to this question will vary according to your religion and beliefs. Some will even say that the question does not make sense, as they believe that God does not exist.
The people of ancient Egypt believed that their Pharaoh was one with the gods and therefore he was a god. The Romans in the time of the Empire believed that the Emperor was a god, which was what got (among other things) the Christians into trouble since they would not worship Him. Humanists, many of whom, if not all, believe 'man is the measure of all things' and so in effect, man is in the position of god for them - but of course not a god as in a supernatural deity. The Mormons believe they will become gods, just as almighty God, who they believe was once a man, did. Such is conditional upon their faithfulness. Most Christians believe Jesus, a man, is God.
The religious leaders were so offended because they recognized that 'no-one can forgive sins except God only.' They thus rightly recognized Jesus' claim to be God in His forgiving the sins of the man, as all sin is ultimately against God, and only God has the right to forgive it.
Muslims believe in ONE god and relate to god as the servers of god, that is to worship, spread the message and most importantly encourage peace. How do Christians relate to god?
Godly aspect is when you relate god with something.e.g.you relate symmetry and god.
The Jews (formerly called "Hebrews") relate to God through prayer, study, and acts of lovingkindness.
"Taker of life" does not relate to any Egyptian god or goddess; there was not a god or goddess of death (that is, a god or goddess solely of death itself).
They are technically considered to be the same God.
Religion is how we relate to God, its the details day to day
Hypnos is the Greek god of sleep and Morpheus is the God of dreams.
