There are four attributes mentioned in the scriptures: love, justice, power, and wisdom. The scripture in 1 John 4:8 states that "God is love." He is the very personification of love. His love for mankind was so great that he sent his only-begotten son, whom he dearly loved, to die for us. This was the greatest act of love. Psalm 37:28 says that Jehovah is a lover of justice, and he will not leave his loyal ones." He is a hater of injustice and he even made provisions in the early Law of Israel to care for orphans and widows who were most prone to become victims of unjust practices. Psalm 146:6 describes his unlimited power as the 'Maker of heaven, earth and sea.' And lastly, his infinite wisdom is evident in His creation! Psalm 104:24, Isaiah 48:17, Proverbs 3:5,6 are all scriptures to support this. Also, the wisdom of King Solomon and Christ Jesus have been referenced for centuries as sage counsel for everyone. All these point to the wonders of our Creator as a very loving, just, all-powerful and wise God.
Four characteristics of God taught by the parables in Luke chapter 15 are: God's relentless pursuit of sinners His boundless love and compassion His joy in welcoming back those who repent His desire for all to be reconciled to Him
A misconceptions about God is that he causes all the wrong in the world like cancer, tsunamis and whatnot but the devil causes all wrong in the world and whatever god does he does because he loves us.
Polytheism is the belief in and worship of multiple gods or deities. Followers of polytheistic religions may believe in various gods with different powers and characteristics, and may offer prayers and rituals to them individually or collectively. Examples of polytheistic religions include ancient Greek mythology and Hinduism.
As an all-knowing being, God is believed to have the ability to perceive and understand every aspect of a person's thoughts and physical being. This understanding is not limited by human constraints such as time or space. Thus, God's knowledge of an individual's thoughts or physical characteristics is seen as part of His omnipotence and omniscience.
There is no specific number mentioned in religious texts for how many wonders God performed. In Christianity, for example, believers attribute various miraculous acts to God that demonstrate his power and glory. These wonders are considered to be expressions of God's divine nature and his ability to intervene in the world.
