The time span between the death of King David, and the death of Jesus was about 1000 years (between 990 and 1010 years).
Gospel of Matthew described magi, priests of the Zoroastrian religion of the Persians, as coming to see the baby Jesus. It seems that the author of Matthew sought to show that even the priests of that great religion would wish to worship Jesus.
As the Zoroastrian connection became less important, the magi began to be referred to in English translations as "wise men" or finally even as "kings". What the gospel does not tell us is how many of the wise men or kings came to worship Jesus.
We can not look outside Matthew's Gospel for an answer, because John Shelby Spong (Born of a Woman: A Bishop Rethinks the Birth of Jesus) says that among people he knows in New Testament circles, the universal assumption is that the magi were not actual people. He says that Matthew was writing Christian midrash.
After Jesus' birth in Bethlehem, the shepherds were the first to visit him, according to the New Testament. The angels announced the birth to the shepherds, who then went to see Jesus in the manger.
Matthew presents Jesus as the promised messiah. The Old Testament gave many prophesies regarding Jesus and so Matthew reveals Jesus as the promised messiah. Mark presents Jesus as a servant. In many instances you will find Jesus serving others. He even went as far as washing His diciples feet, a job that was reserved for a servant. Luke presents Jesus as the son of man. He is God and at the same time he was born of a virgin (Mary). Jesus is both God and man. So Luke focuses his attention on the Man side of Jesus (Son of man).
Tamar Damaris born in 33 AD was the first daugther of Jesus and Maria Magdalena. She born six months after the cruxifiction. Jesus II (Jesus the Justus) born in 37 AD was the first son them and Josephes born in 44 AD was their second son. After this Jesus and Maria Magdalena were formally separated. She went to the south of France while Jesus was married to Lydia.
