Moses died on that day, and the Israelites entered the land of Canaan (Israel) five days later. That is a period of forty years (Numbers ch.14), minus thirty-eight days, or a total of about 14,562 days ([365 x 40] -38). To that, you'd need to add about ten days, since each year is 1/4 day longer than 365 days.
