Elijah ( sometimes styled Eliah, which sounds better) was taken aloft in a fiery chariot. The Old Testament character Enoch did not actualy die but was said to have stepped off the scene- and then he Walked With God. ( this was BC so could not refer to the apostles) St. Paul was given a tour as far up as the Third Heaven but remained silent about his excursion. there may be others. Paul was very much alive at the time.
Enoch was taken to Heaven without dying. Eliijah ascended without dying, in a chariot of fire. He was said to have raised the dead, and brought fire down from Heaven as well, and is supposed to return to Earth before The Apocolypse, as a harbinger of the Coming of Christ. To Enoch: Genesis 5:22-24. To Elijah: 2 Kings 2:11.
According to the Bible, Enoch and Elijah are the only two people God took to heaven without them dying. Genesis 5:24 tells us, "Enoch walked with God; then he was no more, because God took him away." Second Kings 2:11 tells us, "...suddenly a chariot of fire and horses of fire appeared and separated the two of them, and Elijah went up to heaven in a whirlwind." Enoch is described as a man who "walked with God for 300 years" (Genesis 5:23). Elijah was perhaps the most powerful of God's prophets in the Old Testament. There are also prophecies of Elijah's return (Malachi 4:5-6). Since, Elijah and Elias is the same.(Elias in Spanish)
Bible Prophets were direct communication between humans and God. Bible prophets spoke directly to God and served as mediators and told people what God said. Then when Jesus Christ was born he became the mediator and still is to this day. Jesus can take all of our sins and forgive them, he can talk to us through the Bible, and we can talk to him through prayer. Jesus takes care of our sins because he loves us, if it were not for him dying on the cross we may never be close to God. Jesus is the bridge from man to God, this was a road that was there in the Garden of Eden, but this road collapsed when humans chose Sin over God through temptation from the Devil. This separated us from God and Jesus, God's only begotten Son restored that bond between us and the Father who is in Heaven. If we believe in Jesus and trust in him and ask him for forgiveness we will go to Heaven with Jesus the Savior and God the Father.
Many people will have different opinions of what causes are worth dying for. Americans during the revolution belived that the cause of freedom was worth dying for. Also, many people believe causes for peace, love, and equality are all worth dying for.
According to the BIBLE view:Sleeping is when you're still 'alive'; when you still have 'existence'; -- but not conscious or aware of anything going on.Dying is when you are 'not alive' anymore; when you have 'non-existence; -- and you are not conscious or aware of anything.
Elijah and Enoch were the only two people mentioned in the Bible to go to heaven without dying. Enoch was the first of the two.
Elijah and Esau.
The Bible says that Jesus ascended into heaven and _will_ return, not that he has returned. Others in the Bible who were taken directly into heaven: Elijah (in a chariot of fire), and apparently Enoch (God took him, seemingly without him dying first). Also, Mohammad is said to have ascended into heaven. There is a lot more to read on the topic. Of course, if you meant "heaven" in a less traditional way, then every astronaut who survived a trip into orbit and back could be said to have "ascended to heaven and then returned to earth."
This depends on your personal beliefs. Many believe that heaven and hell exist after death, but your beliefs may differ.
According to the Bible, he didn't leave any remains, because he's not dead. After dying and rising again, he was translated bodily into heaven.
Sure why not. At least in the Bible, there is no prohibition against vampires going to heaven. The Bible says only one thing keeps people out of heaven. And that is by dying in unbelief. If anyone dies "rejecting" God in their hearts - they get sent to Satan's hell. That is what the Christian Bible tells us. God wants everyone to go to heaven (II Peter 3:9) and John 3:16 is very clear about Jesus dying for EVERYBODY - no exceptions. God is not prejudiced at all. Galatians 3:28 On the other hand, since Vampires in the literature are typically unrepentant murderers, another Christian perspective is that they would not go to Heaven. Even in the Twilight version of Vampires, if you can't die, you wouldn't be able to go to heaven. Luckily, since vampires do not actually exist, it is unlikely to ever come up.

The Christian religion speaks, in the Bible, of Jesus Christ being the true way to heaven because He (being GOD) came down to Earth and paid our sin debt price by dying on the cross for our sins.
Without you dying or without the goats dying? Big difference.
Some people believe in heaven and hell. If their life is not right before they are on their death bed, they will suddenly become these holy people who will do anything for God. This way, they think they will be able to enter into heaven, which is not always the case.
God, Jesus, all the churches, Jesus dying on the cross to save or sins, and... all the people in The Bible like John or Peter.
You know only God can answer that. But as humans if we look at this question with logic, its better to believe in God than not at all. If some one truly believe in God at the death bed not because they are dying or the fear of death maybe they will enter Heaven. if you did not belive in god, no probably not.Answer:Jesus Christ says: "...no man hath ascended up to heaven, but He that came down from heaven, even the Son of Man which is in heaven." (John 3:13)So, according to the Bible, no man except Jesus Christ is in heaven or has ever gone there... and the answer is "no, you won't go to heaven."
