Jesus quoted from the book of Isaiah at least 10 times in the New Testament. Some of the most well-known references include in Matthew 13:14-15, Luke 4:17-19, and John 12:37-41. These references demonstrate Jesus' fulfillment of Old Testament prophecies and his authority as the promised Messiah.
The word "woe" is in the King James Version of the Bible 106 times. It is in 98 verses.
Peter denied Jesus three times. Jesus foretold that Peter would deny him three times in Mark 14:30, and he did.
Isaiah is quoted most in the New Testament and particularly Isaiah 53. While at first guess many would choose Isaiah...Isaiah might be the most quoted but not the most mentioned. Christ and the Apostles made frequent reference to Elijah. No other prophet is mentioned so frequently in the New Testament as Elijah. He occupies a highly significant place in the history of redemption. Also, since Elijah's ministry was limited to the kingdom of Israel, you will not find any accounts of Elijah in the Chronicles.
More than any other book of the Old Testament, the Book of Isaiah has been interpreted by Christians in an attempt to find evidence that it foresaw the coming of Jesus. Numerous passages of Isaiah have been assigned meanings considered consistent with the New Testament. These include the claim that Isaiah 7:14 prophesied the birth of a virgin and therefore, presumably, of Jesus, the Servant Songs, which now are seen as referring to Jesus, and many others.Christians sometimes refer to the the Book of Isaiah because of the allusions to Jesus that they find within it.
A:We have no evidence that the birth of Jesus was ever foretold. Any such prophecy could be expected to be found in the Old Testament, but objective scholars have so far failed to find any such prophecy. Certainly Matthew's Gospel says that Isaiah 7:14 was a prophecy that Jesus would be born of a virgin, relying on the Septuagint, a flawed early Greek translation of the Hebrew scriptures. While not mentioning Jesus or his mother, Mary, the Septuagint does say: "Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel."However, what the prophet Isaiah actually wrote in the original Hebrew was, "Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, the young woman shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel." The prophecy, if we call it that, was for a young woman about whom Isaiah was speaking and the young woman in question did have a child just a few verses later in Isaiah's book. Isaiah never wrote of a virgin or of the virgin Mary. And so each attempt to credibly show that the birth of Jesus was foretold in the Old Testament ends in failure.
Did you mean, "How many times DID Jesus quote from THE old testament?" If so, He quoted from the Old Testament 84 times.

Suffice it to say that there are dozens of references or direct quotes from Isaiah and of all the Books of the Old Testament, Isaiah is 2nd only to the Psalms.More importantly, Isaiah is called the 'Little Bible' due to the frequency of its verses being used in the New Testament. But the main point here is, Jesus became the fulfillment of Isaiah's messianic prophecies.
Many times. All three of his responses when he was tempted in the desert are from Deuteronomy.
The coming of Immanuel (Jesus Christ) is mentioned once at the mouth of our Father's prophet Isaiah (See Isaiah 7:14). Which matches the actual events set forth in Luke 1, 2
The word Jehovah appears in the text of the Book of Mormon only twice, and one of these is a quote from Isaiah. Words referring to the same being, such as Jesus, Christ, Savior, Redeemer, Son of God, etc. are much more common.
The word righteousness occurs 52 times (50 verses) in the KJV bible book of Isaiah.
Isaiah is believed to have prophesied around 740 to 700 BCE, while Jesus was born around 4 to 6 BCE. This places a gap of approximately 700 years between the time of Isaiah and the birth of Jesus. However, the exact number of years can vary slightly based on different historical interpretations and dating methods.
