John 12:3 (MSG) Mary came in with a jar of very expensive
aromatic oils, anointed and massaged Jesus' feet, and then wiped them
with her hair. The fragrance of the oils filled the house.

Probably about 0.5 liter. [NIV SB 2008]

Nard Or Ointment Of Spikenard:
The name of both a plant and the fragrant oil it yielded. Since
it was very expensive, Mary's act of devotion was costly. [NIV SB

A precious spice imported from North India, was sweet, red, and
smelled like gladiola perfume. Twelve ounces of nard cost a year's wages
(12:5). [NLT SB]
In John 12:1-11, Mary poured a costly perfume made of pure nard on Jesus' feet. Judas Iscariot, one of Jesus' disciples, protested, saying that the perfume could have been sold for a year's wages and the money given to the poor.
This was 'perfumed OIL" and was worth nearly a year's wages.
(John 12:3) "Mary, therefore, took a pound of perfumed oil, genuine nard, very costly, and she greased the feet of Jesus and wiped his feet dry with her hair. The house became filled with the scent of the perfumed oil." . . ..."This perfumed oil could have been sold for upward of three hundred de‧nar′i‧i" . . .(Mark 14:3-6)
(A Denarius is a day's wage...)
("Nard" was a valuable ointment sealed in a small alabaster container ")
St. John the Baptist is known as the patron saint of truth because he was known for preaching repentance and calling people to live a life of honesty and integrity. His boldness in speaking the truth, even at the cost of his life, has made him a symbol of standing up for what is right and true.
Both schools are wonderful and offer some of the lowest prices around. The bible college offers free and low-cost accredited courses. And the universities courses are fairly priced. There program is geared towards training for ministry so they do not offer secular courses therefore they also do not have secular accreditation approved by the DOE. As christianschools do not have to be approved by the DOE.This means that a bible degree from them will not transfer at a secular school at all or with christian schools with secular accreditation. However even if you take biblical courses from a DOE approved bible college and pay allot more money they also will not transfer well at a secular school. Also a biblical degree even a doctorate will not allow you to say teach at a public school or hold a job requiring an AA degree as biblical degree is just not the same as a liberal Arts degree which is what most secular schools or jobs require. So in my thinking unless you are being considered for a ministry job for some national ministry requiring a DOE approved bible degree why pay the high prices. The folks at Ames were missionaries and are not about the money they are about training people for the Kingdom of God.
The construction of the Golden Temple, also known as Harmandir Sahib, was initiated by Guru Ram Das, the fourth Sikh Guru, in the 16th century. The exact cost of its construction is not well-documented but vast resources and donations from the Sikh community were utilized to build this sacred place.
The phrase "What God has blessed, no man can curse" is not a direct Bible verse but is related to the concept found in Numbers 23:8, where Balaam speaks about God's protection over the people of Israel. It is a popular saying that reflects the belief in God's ultimate protection and blessings.
The Bible discusses gluttony in passages such as Proverbs 23:20-21 which warns against excessive eating and urges self-control. In Philippians 3:19, it is mentioned that some people make food their God, highlighting the sin of overindulgence. Romans 13:13-14 encourages believers to avoid revelry and drunkenness which can be related to gluttony.
