I just searched the wikianswers.com for the definition of a cult and here is one of them:
"A religion or religious sect generally considered to be extremist or false, with its followers often living in an unconventional manner under the guidance of an authoritarian, charismatic leader."
As member of Life Quality Project I can say that the only thing from the above that Alfredo is indeed is that he is charismatic and people in LQP use his spiritual guidance.
Otherwise LQP is neither a religion nor a cult. The role of LQP is to educate people about living better with emphasis on learning Perfect Shape for obtaining a beautiful and healthy body and IRECA which is an energy technique based on equilibrating the main energy centers for optimal health and a harmonious life.
Members of LQP live normal lives and in 4 years I've been a member I could'n see anything extremist, actually quite the opposite. Alfredo is advising people to use common sense and to serve other people not only themselves, which is also the motto of IRECA.
Anybody can join and anybody can leave LQP it's people free choice.
From my experience and many others, Alfredo is a very high level spiritual master but there is some fariseism around his name, which I think is quite normal.
Finally, I just wonder how can somebody discriminate between a real master and a fake based only on some words somebody else is writing on wikianswers.com
Be aware!!

Be very aware!! Alfredo claims to be of the lineage of prophets sent to this world like jesus, moses mohamed, ghandi etc, only this time it is a family affair. His father and son are both prophets. But the for-mentioned did not charge 120€/month and demand secrecy.
