There is no definite answer. Some people think so. Others think not.

AnswerHumans were indeed created by God. This is recorded in Genesis 1 and 2. Since this also is the word of God, it is not a matter of either opinion or speculation.

Apart from The Bible's own witness to itself, over 5000 separate details of the Biblical record have been affirmed as true by Archaeology. Not one archaeological discovery has ever contradicted the Bible. This ought to give cause to take seriously other details which have not been verified.

Many religions and belief systems view humanity as a special creation of a higher power, but whether it is considered the "greatest" creation is subjective and varies among different perspectives and interpretations.

One opinion

Mankind has made themselves their own god to fill their own purposes and wants. Some still choose to believe in the "big guy upstairs" because it gives their lives meaning: "God created mankind and to truly know Him brings true meaning."

The plethora of contradictory gods man has come up with is proof of this. And then there are the philosphies that are spiritual in nature but don't enshrine a holy all-powerful conductor - Buddhism comes to mind. Are they wrong ?

How about monotheism vs polytheists...they can't both be 'right'

Without getting into the specious argument of which religion is the 'right' or 'true' one, we can't identify which set of properties or traits within our own psyche we're talking about when we use the term 'god'.

The 'God' myth is a human construct that is comforting to some. Unfortunately, those comforted by it tend to be unable to rationalize WHY they are comforted by it. That's why words like 'faith' come up and why the 'faithful' are so much more open to manipulation and deception than those who view religion with a skeptical eye.

There is far too much evidence to the contrary to believe that god actually exists and was therefore created by man...unless god existed but is now dead. Or any other form of no longer existing.

Another opinionGod created everything. Some people are afraid to acknowledge God because God is in direct competition with human ego's and the world promotes and rewards the biggest ego's to the detriment of the human soul. Another opinion

John1:1, Genesis 1:1,. You have to ask yourself this big question. "If i was at an art museum and I saw several drawings or paintings, would that be enough proof that someone drew or painted them?" Then ask yourself, "If there is no God how do I explain the intricate designs of every atom on and around this planet, and ask yourself why is The Holy Bible accurate in history and occurances?'' If that doesn't answer your question, feel free to ask me a question.

No. Absolutely not. In the Bible, New Testament, Section 3, it states: "God built all equally..." which implies that he built everyone with the same amount of difficulty. Also, we are not a great creation. In Section 78: "God looketh down on those who torment others, those known as the humans...".

From a Christian standpoint: The Scripture you are referring to is Colossians 1:16 because humans would be included in "all things" created by God through Jesus and for Jesus. This is in harmony with the description of Jesus' role in creation mentioned at John 1:3. The Father and the Son worked together to create the universe. Remember the words, let "us" make man in "our" image. (Genesis 1:26)

Humans were meant to be like children to God and to Jesus. There was to be a loving relationship much like that of a family, in which: "the head of every man is Christ; and the head of the woman is the man; and the head of Christ is God." (1 Corinthians 11:3)

The creation of humans was meant to be a way in which God and Jesus could show love and guidance to humanity and express that love by making their creation happy and taking care of them. That was the purpose of creating them, there was a desire for God and Jesus to show that type of affection. Humans have rebelled against that direction and guidance though, and the theme of the Bible if how to set matters straight regarding the creation of mankind.
