We muslims are allowed to watch T.V, play Video Games, and go on the computer during ramadan! BUT, make sure that it doesnt intefere with our prayer times, and we should spend some time reading the Quran and learning about Islam. AND ALSO, make sure that the thing your viewing, playing, reading isnt a haram subject. No blood, profanity, cursin, nudity ect...
I hope this helped!

Watching TV in moderation and with awareness of its impact on one's mind is generally acceptable in the Buddhist teachings.
According to traditional Jewish law, watching TV during Yom Kippur would not be appropriate as the holiday is a solemn day of fasting, reflection, and repentance. Engaging in activities like watching TV could detract from the spiritual significance of the day. It is recommended to focus on prayer, introspection, and spending time with family and community during Yom Kippur.

I would say that it is best to use your time with Islamic activities, like, reading Quran, praying, charity work. I wouldn't recommend watching TV and browsing on the internet unless their Islam-related and you can benefit from it.

Yes, but it's not being kind to yourself.
While I am at the market, you are not allowed to watch tv, go on the computer, and play video games.
Answer 1We can use the computer in Ramadan or any other time. What we are prevented from looking at false images and listening to Haraam music.or going to bad websites, etc. Therefor we have to check ourselves if we are doing the right or wrong thing. We have to take care that we don't do bad deeds during Ramadan, especially when we are fasting. Because The Holy Prophet said : "Actions are judged be intentions".Answer 2You can use a computer but depends what you are doing. These are the things you can do:Work, reading (appropriate books), watching suitable things like islamic videos etc.But you cant: watch films like english films as they have bad bits which could possibly break your fast. This also relates to watching TV unless islamic channels which i advise you do watch. At the end of the day it is Allah you answer to just use your common sense really!

There is an up side to it and a down side to it. The up side is that the computer can contain interesting and educational information, but the down side is that many children many abuse the power of the computer to play and watch inappropriate or not-what-you-are-supposed-to-be-doing type of thing. I think that children should be allowed but RESTRICTED.
No women were allowed to watch the Olympics because they were not considered citizens.
