Moses was afraid of what other people thought about him, and worried about what he wore. He liked to eat palm leaves, and worried about what people thought about him eating palm leaves, and was a pyromaniac. He listened to the burning bush, didn't he? Exactly!

Moses believed in the God of the Israelites, as revealed to him through the burning bush and his experiences leading the Israelites out of Egypt. He followed God's instructions to deliver the Ten Commandments and guide the Israelites to the Promised Land. Throughout his life, Moses stayed faithful to God's guidance and laws.

Abraham was called a friend of God in the New Testament Epistle of James, Chapter 2 verse 23.

Moses was not actually called a friend of God but Exodus Chapter 33 verse 11 reads "So the Lord spoke to Moses face to face, as a man speaks to his friend." So yes it can be said that Moses loosely is called a friend of God.

Moses had an attitude of fearfulness and faith towards God. Moses did all the things that God asked of him, even though he was scared of what might happen.
