John 3:16 "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.

1 John 1:9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.

Romans 8:1 Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus,

Romans 8: 38,39 For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

If you were saved, you are still saved. Keep you heart and mind focused on our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Don't believe Satan's lie that you are no good or committed a sin too big that God will stop loving you.

Who is the prophet who compared his people to sheep who had gone away?

The prophet who compared his people to sheep who had gone astray is Prophet Isaiah. In Isaiah 53:6, he writes, "All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way." This comparison highlights the spiritual wandering and disobedience of the people.

What does Luke chapter 15 verse 7 mean?

"I say unto you, that likewise joy shall be in heaven over one sinner that repenteth, more than over ninety and nine just persons, which need no repentance". Compare to Matthew 18:10-14..." For the Son of man is come to save that which is lost. How think ye? If a man have an hundred sheep, and one of them has gone astray, doth he not leave the ninety and nine, and goeth into the mountains, and seeketh that which is gone astray? And if so be that he find it, verily I say unto you, he rejoiceth more of that sheep, than of the ninety and nine which went not astray. Even so it is not the will of your Father, which is in heaven, that one of these little ones should perish". A supreme Christian motive is that we conduct ourselves in such a way that no one else may be lost on account of our example. Jesus said this a number of times, in different connections.

Can a saved person loose their salvation?

There is a theological debate about whether a saved person can lose their salvation, with various perspectives among different Christian denominations. Some believe in the concept of "eternal security" where once saved, a person cannot lose their salvation. Others believe that it is possible for a saved person to walk away from their faith and reject their salvation. Ultimately, this is a complex issue that varies depending on one's theological beliefs.

If you are saved, you are believed to be granted eternal life in heaven according to most religious teachings. The concept of being saved typically refers to being forgiven and accepted by a higher power, leading to a positive afterlife outcome rather than going to hell.

What is the belief that god has known since the beginning of time who will be saved?

Calvinism is the belief which teaches that at the beginning of time God decided who would be saved. Romans 8:29-30 says that in God's foreknowledge, He predestinated those He knew would be saved to be conformed to Christ, but God did not choose people to be saved and others to not be saved. He knew ahead of time who would accept Him and who would reject Him. Several passages in the Bible say that God is willing for all people to come to Him for salvation.
