I"m not sure i understand your question...iman isn't a person..its your level of belief..in Islam.
The Imam you are referring to is likely Imam Abu Hanifa. There are various narrations that suggest he would hold his wudu for a considerable amount of time, maintaining purity for extended periods while teaching or engaging in acts of worship.
Breaking wudu means losing the state of ritual purity in Islam. It can happen through actions like using the bathroom, passing gas, or falling asleep. In such cases, one must perform ablution (wudu) again before performing any further acts of worship or prayer.
I think " Yes " Brother/Sister. Coz today's Bathrooms and Washrooms are Much Much Much Cleaner than those of the Past. And Just be sure that it is Clean of any " Najasah " Salamou alikum (Peace be upon you)
The cleanest is Islam, where there is a special cleaning treatment called wudu which a Muslim has to perform before doing any prayer or reading out of the holy book. It washes the bodies head, face, arms and feet, and is used for cleansing. This process is only performed by Muslims. It is needed to be done when you have contact with pus, flowing blood, full mouth vomit or discharging. There are a few other reasons as well. If you have showered and haven't discharged, felt pus, had flowing blood or vomiting, you are eligible for having wudu. It lasts the entire day and once you fall asleep, you loose the 'clean' condition, and have to do it again in the morning.
To purify themselves before going to pray to God. As we wash with water, its as if we're washing away all the bad stuff we may have done since last time. my answer:- to cleanse ourselves before we pray because we always urinate and stuff before we pray just like the answer above mine said.
To pray Salah, first ensure you are in a state of ritual purity by performing Wudu (ablution). Then face the Qibla (direction of the Kaaba in Mecca) and stand to begin the prayer. Follow the sequence of physical movements and recitations according to the specific prayer you are performing (Fajr, Dhuhr, Asr, Maghrib, Isha). It is important to concentrate, reflect, and truly connect with Allah during the prayer.

You don't have to have wudu to make du'a, but it's always better.
