The Muslims didn't learn anything from the christians because they where so cruel to the christians.
Yes. In fact there is a case I am currently trying to find in which Muslims killed around 3,000 christians before Richard's slaughter of the 1,000 Muslims. Both sides killed each other....as was often the case of war during those times.
Christians and Muslims called each other "infidels" during the Crusades because each party believed the other was inferior to them. Infidel directly means " A person who does not believe in religion or who adheres to a religion other than one's own."
Christians were promised forgiveness and a spot in heaven if they joined the crusades.
The Crusades were initiated by Christians to recapture the Holy Land (Jerusalem) from Muslims, so Christians had the home field advantage in that region. However, Muslims also had home field advantage in the sense that they were defending their land.

Christians mostly killed Muslims and Jews during the Crusades. The whole thing was wrong- it was a slaughter.

Those who fought during the crusades were: the Seljuk Turks, the European Christians, and the Muslims.
The Christians where the Crusaders as they started the Crusades
The Crusades were started because the the Muslims, Christians, and Jews all share the Holy Land of Israel, and the first crusade occured because the Christians were trying to recapture the holy land.
