The blasphemy which Jesus was supposed to have uttered related to His claim to deity, which the High Priest of course rejected. For a man to claim to be God would of course be indeed blasphemy. But from the lips of Jesus it was the utter truth.
Jesus was accused of blasphemy by claiming to be the Son of God. He was also accused of inciting rebellion against Roman authority by proclaiming himself as the King of the Jews. These accusations ultimately led to his crucifixion.
Yes they accused Jesus of blasphemy at the time they where not understanding who Jesus was even though it was written by the prophets before Jesus was ever born . they had religion not relationgship with God they where jealous of Jesus because the people followed Jesus and the signs and wonders He did however it was all written before hand that they would put Jesus on the tree(cross) the word came to pass it was done and He said on the cross it is finished.He fulfilled the word to the letter all that was written about the Christ was fulfilled. it is all written in the word of God
