Christianity is the only worldview that I know of that deal with the topic of forgiveness. Man is too self-centered to forgive one another. In Luke 6:37 tell us to; Judge not, and ye shall not be judged: condemn not, and ye shall not be condemned: forgive, and ye shall be forgiven: Since, man heart towards other are slow unless he/she is a Christ like Christian and is born again, and living to God's standards then most likely others will forgive.

Various worldviews, such as Christianity, Buddhism, and Humanism, promote the idea of forgiveness as a way to overcome resentment, heal relationships, and find inner peace. Each worldview may have different underlying beliefs about the nature of forgiveness, its benefits, and how it should be practiced.
