Assuming you mean Judas Iscariot and his call to be an apostle, then it was at the same time as the other apostles:
Luke 6
13 And when it was day, he called unto him his disciples: and of them he chose twelve, whom also he named apostles; 14 Simon, (whom he also named Peter,) and Andrew his brother, James and John, Philip and Bartholomew, 15 Matthew and Thomas, James the son of Alphaeus, and Simon called Zelotes, 16 And Judas the brother of James, and Judas Iscariot, which also was the traitor.
In religious texts, depending on the belief system, figures such as Lucifer, also known as Satan, and Judas Iscariot are often portrayed as betrayers of God. Lucifer is said to have rebelled against God, while Judas Iscariot is known for betraying Jesus.
Matthew 13:55 - Is this not the carpenter's son? Is not His mother called Mary? And His brothersJames, Joses,Simon, and Judas?[NKJV]
Two. Judas Iscariot, who betrayed Jesus and Judas identified as the 'brother of James' and also as Thaddeus.
In the New Testament, Judas is commonly referred to as Judas Iscariot.
first of all he commited a horrible sin- and was party to the execution of Christ- a co-conspirator as it were. second he took his own life in nothing that would be called a sacrificial mode- suicide is its own punishment, so they say. sorry, no energy crisis where Judas wound up!Another Point of View:Who are we to say the depth of God's mercy? God sent His only begotton Son, not to condemm the world, but to save the world, so that whosoever believe might be saved. This is a gift with no strings. Judas probably believed. That's probably why he took his life. He met the criteria for salvation - belief. Besides, someone had to betray Jesus in order for scripture to be fulfilled - wouldn't it make sense that Judas was simply doing his agreed role, painful as it might have been to him?
Judas
peter was the one who reconized jesus after he died and came back to life so it was peter. Judas was pre-determined to betray Jesus. He was called by God to perform this act that was prophesied. If he refused God's calling he would have been disloyal to God. If Abraham was not stopped by the angel would he have still killed his son? If God did not want Judas to heed his calling would he have not dispatched an Angel to stop Judas? Judas did not hear the cock crow 3 times as he denied his affiliation with Jesus. Judas did not run away from Jesus as Pilot's men descended upon Jesus. Judas brought Pilot's men to Jesus. Once again, Judas was instrumental to fulfilling God's plan. Good instance of Pre-determination verses Free Will.
No! There is a false gnostic "gospel of Judas" written by a bunch of heretics in the 2nd century but it is not considered "theopneustos-Graphae" the God breathed or insprired writings of God and so is not included in the Bible. There is some confusion, however, about a letter entitled 'jude' in the New Testament. The recipient of this letter, however, is not Judas Iscariot, but almost certainly Judas, son of Alpheus, the other disciple called 'Judas' and not to be confused with Judas iscariot.
