they lived in Bethlehem
Ruth Harkness is known for bringing the first giant panda back to the United States. It is not known if she had any children. Her husband was Bill Harkness.
The Bible does not say, but because this marriage of Ruth and Boaz was blessed by God and their grandson David was a man after God's own heart, I think it can be safely assumed that Boaz died at a ripe old age.
Boaz was Naomi's relative through her deceased husband's family. He was a kinsman-redeemer who had the right to marry Ruth, Naomi's daughter-in-law, and redeem the family property.
Rahab was the mother of Boaz by Salmon, Boaz had Ruth as his wife and begat Obed. Although this is stated as such in the NIV, the KJV is much clearer. The record is seen also in Ruth, regarding her marriage to Boaz and having son Obed. Rahab, the harlot, was in the ancestry of Boaz, of David and of Jesus Christ. This was because she turned to believe in the true God of Israel, while the rest of her city rejected Him.
Ruth's second husband was Boaz. He was a wealthy landowner who showed kindness and generosity towards Ruth and her mother-in-law Naomi. They later married, following Jewish customs.
