The Coptic Church is the largest Christian Church in Egypt, and it is Eastern Orthodox.
Coptics come from Egypt, They are a form of Christanity.
There are mainly two big religions in the modern Egypt and they are Islam and Christianity in this order. Islam is the religion of the state, and it is by far the biggest religion in Egypt. Christianity however is mainly followed by Coptics (a minority group believed to be one of the first settlers in what now we call Egypt).

Coptic Christians are divided into Orthodox Coptics, Catholic Coptics, and protestant Coptics, the first two would have a Catholic Mass, the protestant Coptics have lost the power to celebrate the Eucharist.
Yes
Muslims
Coptics are treated unfairly. Muslims can do whatever they want to the Christians in Egypt. If a Muslim person converts to Christianity they will be killed or other punishments. Coptics first ruled all of Egypt till the Muslims took over their land and now control over it. Coptics can be killed anytime for any reason if they feel the need to. Sometimes the Muslims would burn down or bomb the Christan churches. But overall the Christians in Egypt can live a normal life and have no problems unless they do something thought as "wrong" to the Muslims.
Mostly Islam but also a considerable group of Coptics (a type of Christianity similar to Catholicism)
According to most estimates, there are between 700000 and one million Coptic Christians in the United States.
The Coptic Church is a branch of the Orthodox Church with whom a schism has existed since the year 1054.

Someone that lives an isolated life of worship is called a hermit. In Christianity, hermits were originally Coptics that lived alone in the desert. They were called eremites by the Greeks, and that is where we get the word hermit. Hermitage is not restricted to Christianity, it is common in Islam, Hinduism, and Buddhism as well.
You're question is a little unclear and could mean two things so I'll answer both. Why did the Orthodox denomination emerge? The Orthodox emerged when the eastern and western bishops excommunicated each other in a power struggle in 1054. The east became the Orthodox and the west became the Catholics. Who broke off from the Orthodox? There was no reformation in the east like there was in the west. There was the separation of the Coptics, but that was simply on their slightly different belief about the nature of the Trinity.
