Is white lie justifiable to us?

No. We all tell a 'white lie' at one time or another. We call them a white lie because it makes it sound not as bad as an outright lie. Sometimes we tell them because we do not want to hurt someones feelings. The truth about a white lie is that it is still a lie, an untruth. If you take a single piece of bubble gum from the store and do not pay for it, is that stealing? Although it seems small and insignificant, if you are caught by the shop owner, what opinion will they form of you? Most probably that you can't be trusted and they will hold that impression of you for a long, long time. If you tell a white lie to someone and they find out it was a lie, then they will always have doubt whether or not you are telling the truth. Another problem with a 'Little white lie' is that to keep it going you usually have to tell another lie to cover the first one. Then another to cover those two and so on. It's better to tell the truth and live with the outcome.

Is a white lie a sin?

From a moral standpoint, lying is generally considered wrong in most religious and ethical systems. However, the severity of lying can vary depending on the context and the intention behind it. While a white lie may not have harmful consequences, it still involves deceit, which can be considered unethical.

Why did Sarah lie to Abraham about laughing?

Sarah lied to the angel because she was afraid (Genesis 18:9-15). When told she would have a long-awaited child, she instinctively laughed at the idea because she was, by then, 90 years old(Genesis 17:17), but the angel was very clear that NOTHING is impossible for God. His rebuke was a reminder to Abraham and Sarah, and to anyone reading the Bible throughout the centuries that followed, that NOTHING is too extraordinary for God.(Matthew 19:26/Luke 1:37/James 1:5-8). Sarah's son was appropriately named "Isaac", meaning 'laughter'(Genesis 21:1-7).

Why will God lie through the mouth of all His prophets to speak evil to His people 2 Chronicles Chapter 18 verse 21 and 22?

Most of the prophets spoken of in this chapter are not prophets of God. They are Ahab's prophets. The prophet that lied to the king was also not one of God's prophets. The lying spirit came and asked to entice king Ahab and God allowed it to happen and allowed the lying spirit to speak through these false prophets because they chose to let it speak through them. God will not stop us from doing anything we want as He gives every one free choice including prophets. Micaiah was a prophet of God who did lie to Ahab because he knew what Ahab wanted here. He later told Ahab the truth of what God wanted him to say to the king. Micaiah chose to lie and God did not stop him from doing so. One must read around the verses in question to find out what the context the verses are and to know what the rest of the story is about to know how to understand and interpret specific verses.

What is a preterist?

A preterist is a theologian who believes that all of the prophecies of the book of Revelation and there fore all of the prophecies of the Bible have already taken place. According to Jesus in Matthew 16: 27,28 he told a group of his disciples, "For the Son of man is to come with his angels in the glory of his Father, and then he will repay every man for what he has done. Truly, I say to you there are some standing here who will not taste death before they see the Son of man coning in his kingdom." So if Jesus has not returned and He is the Son of God who does not lie, where are the disciples of nearly 2000 years of age that should still be living according to most modern christian church doctrine of escathology? The truth is that Jesus did not lie. He did return as He said. This took place in A. D. 70 with the destruction of the Herod's temple by the Roman armies. See Luke 21:5-20.
