Studying religion in general terms is difficult for sociologists to do because of the varying degree of beliefs, practices, and methods used in religion. However, many sociologists use both qualitative and quantitative methods of research, giving them a wider picture of religion.

What religion is zukangor based on?

i cant find it either. Had recommend looking barnes and noble. But i think it's unimportant. I thing they just meant: "he found spirituality." Best way to make it believable is through religion. or else Stone in the film would just be another bullshitter claiming enlightenment but not backing it up or being a hypocrit. That AND people would've banned, or protested since it makes Christianity look really bad in comparisons. my guess? Buddism maybe. The one that uses "OM" to meditate rather than "hue" to feel, listen to, and block out other sounds The above isn't right. The religion Zukangor in the movie Stone is based on a real religion called Eckankar, that borrows from Sikhism and the sufis. There is a wikipedia article on it. They changed the name because of copyright issues.
