God is not a murderor. He wishes for only peace and he examplifies this throughout his mercy.
Answer
God does not kill the Devil because it would negate God's intentions in creating us.
When God gave man free will, it allowed evil to exist and created a divide between the perfect God and imperfect creation. The role of the Satan is to enforce that divide.
Contrary to popular belief (mostly as the result of Paul's misunderstanding of both Judaism and Christianity when he Hellenized it and encorporated many pagan ideas later in the New Testament), the Satan is an agent OF God not acting in opposition. While it's true that "Satan" (properly Shaitan) translates as "the adversary" it is not of God, but of man. Think of Satan as being like a white blood cell, purging creation of illness and disease.
By over coming temptations and enduring trials and tribulation, mankind proves it's holiness and is admitted back into the divine presence so thatnwe can become as God intended- truly in his image. If we were to be admitted into the presence without first being purified, we would be totally annihilated. Even Jesus had to endure trials and temptations to prove his holiness before he could be admitted back into the presence of his father.
Man creates evil, not Satan. Satan tempts us but can not lift so much as a finger against us, so why destroy Satan? It is our free will and our ability to make bad choices that cause the evil that we must all endure.
In some religious beliefs, the devil serves a purpose in challenging humanity to choose between good and evil, thus allowing individuals to demonstrate their faith and strengthen their relationships with God. Additionally, the concept of free will allows for the existence of evil forces that individuals can choose to resist or succumb to, ultimately shaping their moral character.
Jeffrey B. Russell (The Prince of Darkness: Radical Evil and the Power of Good in History) says that the role of the Devil is to exonerate God for the existence of evil. He says that the Devil is a human construct to explain the existence of evil, in the presence of an all-good, all-powerful creator God. After some experimenting with different ideas, all of which conflicted with the strict concept of monotheism, modern Judaism largely considers the Devil a symbol of the tendency to evil within humans and of our misuse of free will, rather than a personified being. The person of Satan in the Book of Job is an earlier, post-Exilic notion of Satan as the loyal assistant to God.
Christians took a different approach to evolving Judaism and saw the Devil as a wholly evil personification of Satan. Nevertheless, to kill the Devil would leave God responsible for all the evil in the world, and the role of the Devil is to exonerate God for the existence of evil.
God will kill the Satan, at a time of His choosing (Talmud, Sukkah 52a).
7Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. 9Whom resist stedfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world.
In some religions, God is believed to have control over life and death. The Devil is not typically seen as having power over death, but may be associated with evil or temptation. Ultimately, beliefs about death and its control may vary between different religious traditions.
The devil was angel once. Before he was cast out of heaven for wanting to be higher than God. Now he is very upset with God and wants to turn people against God. So he can use us for evil. So the devil is a controller but he only controls the people who let him control them. You have to learn how to saqy no to the devil.
In some belief systems, God and the Devil are seen as opposed forces rather than siblings. In Christianity, for example, the Devil is considered a fallen angel who rebelled against God. So, they are typically not depicted as brothers in religious teachings.
In Greek mythology, the god of temptation is often associated with Eros, the god of love and desire. In Christian theology, temptation is often attributed to the devil or Satan.
