Why is immorality always increasing?

1 John 5: 19 reads. " The whole world is lying in the power of the wicked one". Revelation 12. 9 describes the wicked one as the original serpent called Devil and Satan, who is misleading the entire inhabited earth.

The original serpent started his career a long time ago. Genesis 3: 1-5 in the first Book of The Bible talks about the original serpent as someone whose influence was going to have a great impact on the human race. Read Romans 5: 12

2 Timothy 3: 1-5 describes the human's race conduct in these words. Men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, disloyal, having no natural affection, not open to any agreement, puffed up with pride, lovers of pleasures rather than lovers of God. Which is exactly what Satan wanted from the beginning of mankind.

So today the world is under two influences. Satan's influence, but God also has his influences on those who have chosen to live up to His standards.

2 Timothy 3: 16,17 shows that all Scripture is inspired of God and is beneficial for our teaching, so we can be fully competent, completely equipped for every good work.

Some 2'000 years ago, Jehovah God sent his most percious Son to the earth to redeem the human race from the curse of sin and death and to undo the damage caused by Satan. Read John 3:16; 1 John 3: 8

1 John 5: 20 reminds us that the Son of God came on earth , and he has given mankind insight, which means mental perception, intellectual capacity, so that we may gain knowledge of the one who is true. And that we can be in union with the one who is true, by means of his Son Jesus Christ.

Adam and Eve had the choice between living in a clean environment forever on earth or death, according to Genesis 2: 15-17.

Adam and Eve knew that if they did not eat from the tree of knowledge of good and bad they would not die. That command would have made no sense if they were meant to grow old and die anyway. Confirmed in Genesis 3: 3,4

Our possibility to live forever on earth, as promised in Psalm 37: 29, is momentary postponed.

Well ! the Bible is quite clear, "The whole world is lying in the power of the wicked one, who promised Eve that she will be like God if she listened to him . Read Genesis 3: 4. That is where the god-like complex came from and is spreading like a disease, under the name of narcissist and ENTITLEMENT, even in primary schools.

So we are not left without help. Jeremiah 10. 23 reminds us that we were not created to live without being guided, in these words. " It does not belong to man who is walking to direct his step." And Jesus reminds us in Matthew 4: 4 that "Man must not live on bread a lone, but on every word that comes from Jehovah's mouth".

I don't think it is. Different cultures might go through phases where what they call 'immorality' waxes and wanes, and there are probable times and places when people behaved better than they do here and now; but I wouldn't swap this for Rome under the Emperors, or Europe in some of its darker periods (especially when the immorality was institutionalised, as under the Inquisition).
