I don't think it is. Different cultures might go through phases where what they call 'immorality' waxes and wanes, and there are probable times and places when people behaved better than they do here and now; but I wouldn't swap this for Rome under the Emperors, or Europe in some of its darker periods (especially when the immorality was institutionalised, as under the Inquisition).

Is the media responsible for the increasing immorality in Uganda?

The media can influence public perceptions and behaviors, but attributing the increasing immorality in Uganda solely to its influence oversimplifies the issue. Factors such as socio-economic conditions, cultural norms, and political dynamics also play significant roles in shaping societal values. While sensationalist media coverage may exacerbate certain behaviors, it is essential to consider the broader context of societal change and challenges. Ultimately, morality is shaped by a complex interplay of various factors beyond just media representation.
