"Sin" refers to acts which a faith community has deemed to be offenses against God, as that faith community understands God. Acts which are considered sins in some faiths may not be considered sins in other faiths. (Please note that this question invites frequent edits and changes. With respect, what follows is one person's explanation of Christian doctrine. A number of religions (Judaism among them) do not believe in the doctrine of Original Sin or that "all people are innately sinful."

There is sin because in the beginning God told Adam and Eve not to eat from the tree of Knowledge and they did. This was the first sin committed. People are born naturally sinful because we have free will and free will gives us the chance to sin and since we listen to our head and not what God tells our hearts, we sin.

That was very accurate, but there's a bit more. Adam and Eve did not decide just among themselves that they were going to eat of the forbidden tree, but Satan, the first fallen angel, took the form of a serpent and planted a seed of doubt in Eve's mind and she told Adam who took the reins and they sinned together. All people are innately sinful, but unlike Satan, we have complete free will, as angels (the fallen ones are demons) cannot be saved, for, as far as I know, angels were not created in God's image as only mankind was.

Since all humanity is rotten to the core, as the sin of Adam was not just his, but he was a representative for all of us, as we would have done the same thing, probably sooner than he did. Why? He was the smartest man alive as he was able to name all of the animals with ease. As man began to have more and more children, the affect of our sin nature has crippled us more and more with us being the most ignorant and least intelligent people of all time.

Previous people were able to build pyramids, not just in Egypt, with not too much difficulty, as well as the enigmatic Stonehenge that still puzzles us, as their minds were so unbelievably more intelligent than we are, regardless of how many people try to chisel away at the mysteries with our machines and technology, as there still countless mysteries that even a lifetime of research may not uncover.

----------

Sin is knowingly acting contrary to what you know, or have reason to believe, is true. Ignorantly doing something bad is still a transgression and has consequences but does not corrupt your character.

Sin exists because of human free will. When people choose to act against moral and ethical principles, they commit sin. It is a consequence of individual decisions and behaviors that deviate from what is considered right or good.

cos*cot + sin = cos*cos/sin + sin = cos2/sin + sin = (cos2 + sin2)/sin = 1/sin = cosec

How do you prove this trigonometric relationship sin3A equals 3sinA cos 2 A - sin 3 A?

sin(3A) = sin(2A + A) = sin(2A)*cos(A) + cos(2A)*sin(A)= sin(A+A)*cos(A) + cos(A+A)*sin(A) = 2*sin(A)*cos(A)*cos(A) + {cos^2(A) - sin^2(A)}*sin(A) = 2*sin(A)*cos^2(A) + sin(a)*cos^2(A) - sin^3(A) = 3*sin(A)*cos^2(A) - sin^3(A)

Verify that sin minus cos plus 1 divided by sin plus cos subtract 1 equals sin plus 1 divided by cos?

[sin - cos + 1]/[sin + cos - 1] = [sin + 1]/cosiff [sin - cos + 1]*cos = [sin + 1]*[sin + cos - 1]iff sin*cos - cos^2 + cos = sin^2 + sin*cos - sin + sin + cos - 1iff -cos^2 = sin^2 - 11 = sin^2 + cos^2, which is true,

How do you show that 2 sin squared x minus 1 divided by sin x minus cos x equals sin x plus cos x?

(2 sin^2 x - 1)/(sin x - cos x) = sin x + cos x (sin^2 x + sin^2 x - 1)/(sin x - cos x) =? sin x + cos x [sin^2 x - (1 - sin^2 x)]/(sin x - cos x) =? sin x + cos x (sin^2 x - cos^2 x)/(sin x - cos x) =? sin x + cos x [(sin x - cos x)(sin x + cos x)]/(sin x - cos x) =? sin x + cos x sin x + cos x = sin x + cos x
