Painted turtles live in North America. Painted turtles are the most widely dispersed species of turtle in North America and they live in slow-moving water habitats from southern Canada to the Mexican border.
Painted turtles live in ponds, lakes or streams. This turtles are found mostly in lakes.
water snails but not regular snails
They live in Swamps.
you should not put them together because tortioses live on land with little water. eastern painted turtles love water and spend most of their time in water. what i would do is get two different tanks to put them in. by the way eastern painted turtles are omnivores and hermann's tortoises are herbivores. the two wouldn't work together.
The southern painted turtle lives in northern mexico.
water turtles live in the water land turtles live in the land
turtles still live in water but not all turtles.
Painted turtles...like many other turtles are simi-aquatic. Which means that they require land and water. They need some place to swim and they also need some place so they can get out and dry off under a heat lamp of some kind.
Snails, crabs, turtles, armadillos, tortoises, and lobsters all live in or have a shell.
yes, because in the wild they usually live together and people who have those two turtles say that they get along.
Turtles live in the water. How can they not breath in what they live in?!
