No, they prefer to be left alone although many will tolerate or even seem to enjoy being held. You could handle them for 30 min sessions everyday or a few minutes every other week if you want. Try not to handle more than 1 or 2 times a day or too long of time at once, if you feel that they are cold, put them back. Some species will need constant handling to stay docile, though, while others will need to never be handled unless cleaning their cage or for emergencies.
Some bites and stings, such as those from venomous snakes, require immediate medical attention, as do a host of others.
Both of mine love attention and are constany trying to climb on my lap to get me to pet them.
I learned that they love to play, but can play well on their own.
You don't want a dog. They all require a lot of attention, and the smaller ones even more so. Consider a cat. Toy and miniature poodles are not very quiet, but all dogs need attention and company...
you need to bathe them alot because if you don't, they get mats really bad. Persians sleep ALOT and don't really need that much attention.
china is super huge.. a lot of snakes exist...
Snakes use there tongues for a lot of thing. Snakes use their tongues for smell and to find food.
Cats require a lot of attention compared to other pets because they are social animals that need mental stimulation, playtime, and interaction with their owners to stay happy and healthy. Cats also have specific needs such as grooming, feeding, and litter box maintenance that require regular attention. Neglecting these needs can lead to behavior problems and health issues in cats.
Possibly because obesity is a lot bigger problem than anorexia is. Their are a lot more people that are obese than their are with anorexia. Both are very unhealthy problems though and both require attention for treatment.
