Most turtles will eat fiddler crabs. When I got my turtle he ate everything that moved (fish, fiddlers, and a snail) Recently though, he hasn't touched any of the fish and prefers to eat the turtle sticks and freeze-dried shrimp treats. I bought two fiddlers yesterday and they seem to be getting along just fine. If you buy a bunch you can use them as food and a cleaning crew. A nice little snack for the turt and a clean tank!

no they are not
no
They're in the crustation or the crabs group.
crabs are nocturnal
No, Hermit Crabs and Fiddler Crabs are very different, and require two whole different living conditions. And Fiddler Crabs are very aggressive, and will probably attack the Hermit Crab anyway. So, in all, it just isn't a good idea.
