they sleep a little then swim a bit then sleep again is the water too deep they do have shallow spots and things to climb on is this just how they are or should they be sleeping through the night?
My baby turtle sleep underwater. They need to be able to get on land and in fact they enjoy it! My turtles do fine out of water for an hr or more because they also sleep out of water. Turtles need time out of their terrarium so they can work out.
at least an inch in any cage it is in
Because they haven't had as much sleep as you have and they need to catch up on their sleep and that is why the older they get the less they sleep beause they are getting caught up.
they think they need water
Turtles, whether they are babies or not, need 10-12 hours of UVB light daily.
yes
Err... feed them ! You can't 'make' an animal grow - They'll only eat as much food as they need.
they need new pampers
Like any babies, they need their rest as much as possible. In fact, even adult turtles don't do much more than sleep, eat, and drink, land turtles any way, i don't have much experience with the habits of water turtles
Reptiles (like most animals) sleep when THEY need to - there is no set time. In the wild, they'd eat then rest in short bursts.
Baby tortoises can sleep anywhere from 18 to 24 hours when they're young. Their need for sleep diminishes slightly as they get older.
well, a baby sleep suit is something that a baby would go to sleep in!!! :)
