Male red devils (Amphilophus labiatus) can be distinguished from females by their size and physical features. Males are generally larger and have a more pronounced nuchal hump on their heads, especially when mature. Additionally, males often exhibit brighter coloration and more intense patterns compared to females. During breeding, females may display a rounder body shape and a more subdued color.
The "devil" can be anything you can imagine, there is no actual proof on if the devil even exists but he is usually portrayed as a male character with red skin.
You usually can tell by their tale if its longer its a male if its shorter its a female.
