Depends on the species...there are 23 crocodilian species...the largest is the saltwater crocodile (Crocodylus porosus) topping out at around 6 or 7 meters (largest official 6.2 meters), followed by the Nile crocodile of Africa and the Indian gharial (at 5.5 meters & 6 meters, respectively.) But the vast majority of the crocodiles you will see (even in the larger species) will be under 13 feet (4 meters) in length.
