Outside Australia... the lowest I have ever personally seen is $1,000 USD. Typically, it ranges between $2,000 to $4,000 USD depending on subspecies, locale, gender, and age of animal. T. r. rugosa seems to fetch a higher price than T. r. aspera and females typically sell for more (if they're even available). Most transactions often occur between breeders (sometimes even swapping offspring to enrich bloodlines) and are seldom seen for sale publicly, though they do pop up from time to time.
