A jaguar (Panthera onca) is a big cat and the only member of Panthera found in the Western Hemisphere. It has a very large range (though it is diminishing), and is easily recognized by it's yellowish coat and black spots (rosettes). Occasionally they are black.

It is also a make of British Car.
