Rattlesnakes and pitvipers, which are less venemous than cobras (they have a different kind of toxin), are found widely throughout Arizona. Some species include the diamondback and copperhead.

Arizona has many rattlesnake species, including the western diamondback and Mojave rattlesnake.

The coral snake is found there as well, it is a member of the family elapidae, which includes cobras.
