Yes the are the same snake just different color but neither can let out venom
The venoms are different for different species of snakes. Examples: neurotoxins, enzymes, peptides, amines, etc. See the link below for details.
i'd say the easiest way to put it would be to say they produce venom like we do saliva... they have glands either side of the head that constantly produces venom, not all snakes are venomous though.
Venomous snakes do not give out a poison, they inject a venom by biting. Venom kills by being injected, a poison by being eaten. Snakes are not poisonous.
snakes have fail-safes in their DNA which protects them from their own venom, in case they accidentally bit themselves. this also comes in handy, since most snakes have the same or similar types of venom. the only exception is when a different snake has a different type of venom. ie: hemotoxic or neurotoxic
No. Venomous snakes can control when they release venom.
it is venomous
There is a species of snake called a garter snake
Venom - Awesome Snakes album - was created in 2006.
There are less scorpions that are capable of killing a Human than there are snakes who can deliver fatal poison.. Most scorpions have weaker venom than snakes - they use their pincers to capture prey and sting it to death as well as tear it apart. Snakes have no other limbs to rely on, so their venom is the only weapon they have. Snake venom is also dangerous because there are many different kinds of venom; some affect the nerves, some destroy the body's tissue.
Yes. The venom of venomous snakes is often lethal to that of other. The exception is that many snakes are resistant to their own species' venom. Snakes that are adapted to eating other snakes may also have some venom resistance.
Snakes evolved different methods of subduing their prey. Most evolved into constrictors, as it's sometimes a better method than using venom. Venom needs to be manufactured by the body - and takes time to replenish.
