Maybe a cheetah.
yes it is a invasive animal many years ago baby alligators were sold as pets and when they grew to big the families who owned the alligators would flush them down the toilets or shove them down the sewers. here, inside the sewers, the alligators grew huge and killed off other animals.
alligators and sewer systemsno absolutaly not it far to small and it would not be able to find enough foodNo.The chemicals in the water would kill it.yes. that is the reason they are invasive species.
Pandas are not an invasive species.
A noxious weed is another term for an invasive plant species.
Alligators number in the millions in the U.S. The Chinese alligator is rare, and numbers are less than 1000.Chinese Alligators (Alligator sinensis) and American Alligators (Alligator mississippiensis) are the only surviving species of alligators. There were other species of alligators but they are all extinct now.
Invasive species
Tropical wading birds, alligators and Burmese pythons are examples of animals that use the Everglades for breeding grounds. The latter is an invasive species.

No Alligators are a different species
Pythons are an invasive species in the Everglades. An invasive species is one which is not naturally there but has been introduced by accident or on purpose by humans. In the case of the python it results from people releasing their pets to the Everglades when they get too large or they become bored with them. Invasive species usually have no natural enemies to keep their numbers down. In the case of the python, iit is a large predator which outclasses the local predators for hunting ability and size, As a consequence it eats tall the food go the local predators (raccoons, rabbits, deer) which starves the local large predators (alligators etc). With no natural food the python then moves on to alligators, dogs, small children and similar.
We try to stop invasive species entering our rivers and lakes.
