hatchling my stupid old fart answered this question
yes the mother burries the egg in the sand and then leaves. racoons eat baby eggs so some might not survuve
No they are on their own from the moment they come out of the egg.
sand+egg= turtle
they are born out of an egg. just like every other turtle.
"It's an egg tooth", the newly hatched baby turtle uses it to break through it's egg shell. The tooth will soon drop off.
It is not recommended if you move the egg because if the egg is shifted the baby inside will die if u have to move it u must keep it in the same position!!!
An egg shell provides protection for the developing baby turtle inside by acting as a barrier against predators and providing a stable environment for growth. The shell also helps regulate the exchange of gases and moisture necessary for the embryo's development.
it lays its eggs in the sand on a beach or near water and leaves the eggs there when they hatch they got directly the the water
Not normally, they will the eggs. Normally a turtle lays the egg and then leaves, but since its in a tank, they'll eat them!
turtle=egg+sand
She Hungry !
i think a baby turtle should try to hide because he or her might be too small to go in the water and the reason they can't go in is because some baby turtle's know how to swim but some baby turtle's don't know how to swim.
