The longest recorded reticulated python, is measured at a record 33 feet, making it the longest snake in the world.

The Reticulated Python is a member of the Pythonidae family and has and average length of 25ft to 35ft however,there is a Reticulated python that is the biggest snake known to man 49ft long! with a weight of 983lbs!; they can be located in Southeast Asia and can be found in the tropical rainforest's, a member of the Boa family the female can have up to 100 eggs at a time, the diet consists of small mammals and birds, the larger the python the larger the prey which include pigs, dogs, cats, birds and primates, the python ambushes it's prey and suffocates the victim rather then crushing it, after swallowing the prey whole digestion takes many days to several weeks depending on the size of the prey.
