Although these animals usually are not aggressive, sometimes a leopard gecko can become aggitated through handling, breeding, or activity. They will usually warn before biting by making a hissing sound, if you are bite by one though, it will not hurt. Avoid handling a hissing leopard gecko, allow it to calm first.
No, both animals are very territorial and if housed together will fight and seriously hurt or kill each other. You should never house either of these animals with another kind of animal or even their own kind.
Yes, adults will eat hatchlings.
if you sharpen it it could cut you and cause you to bleed
You are only supposed to put them with other leopard geckos. Other types of lizards will try to hurt them, or the other way around. NEVER mix species unless (a) they're found naturally co-existing in the wild and (b) one species is not prey to the other!
If you are able to get your leopard gecko to take interest into fruit, it is not detrimental to their health. In most cases a Leopard gecko will not take interest into fruits as they are not live, moving prey.
they cry....they bleed.....unfortunately they die if the pain is VERY PAINFUL!
Yes, most lizards bite. Some lizards squirt blood through their naked eye, whilst other lizards wave their tail to scare predators away. Yes, most lizards can bite as a weapon for self defense. However lizards that are kept in captivity, such as iguanas, are less likely to bite humans because they are used to human contact. Some lizards give a warning before biting - if a lizard opens its mouth wide, swells and hisses at the same time, this is a warning that it may be about to bite.
