No, a gecko is not able to consume a carrot. These animals are usually insectivores (some being omnivorous and enjoying fruits, saps etc..) but there are no gecko species whose diet consist of vegetables.

yes they are although they sometimes will eat bananas, cantaloupe or grinded up carrot mine ate the banana when she was a baby she loved them but now she doesn't want anything to do with them LOL

The appearance of a gecko are based on why type they are.Like if it were an albino gecko it would probably be a pink color.If it were a carrot tail gecko it would be kinda orange.If it were a regular gecko it would be yellow with three or four stripes and will grow lots of spots.Almost all geckos grow spots depending on their type.
