The military typically pays around $1.50 to $2.00 per pound for moving personal property during a Permanent Change of Station (PCS) move. This rate can vary based on factors like the type of move, the distance, and specific contracts with moving companies. Service members are also entitled to certain allowances and reimbursements to cover additional moving-related expenses.
