Probably drawn from the nursery rhyme "A Frog He Would a-Wooing Go" (c.1883?). No specific meaning as such, but typically used as longer version of the verbal shrug 'hey, ho', a slightly archaic term seemingly coming back in to vogue - Collin's English Dictionary is reintroducing the phrase (Sept 2009) due to it's increasing popularity, partly attributed to the internet and social networking sites.

for words of the rhyme. There also appear to be rather grubbier versions available, but I leave that to you and the Well Known Search Engines!
There is probably no connection to the expression HEY! and the feed for horses. The Hey is an exclamation or surprise expression.
Hey! Well yes and no they have and exoskeleton like a isopod or a roly-poly
Nanki said Hey hey hey stop it stop it on the way back from Michigan!
hey
It really depends. Some guys don't mean anything by it. Some do mean something by it. It could depend on the tone of voicethey used and how they said it.

"Hey" can be translated to "अरे" in Hindi. It is a casual expression often used to get someone's attention.
Not usually but It depends on the where and when it is being said. For example if you walk to someone and they say hey hey hey usually they're saying it in the sense that they are saying hello. Another example would be in a song by drake. In the song it doesn't mean anything really it is just to go with the song. Hopefully this helped.
hay, have you ever heard the expression hey is for horses
hey hey
it is said that "hey girl hey" comes from the movie Alvin and The Chipmunks
