Nope, that's only emo posers. Posers are people that want to be something there not, and there usually hated.
Some individuals who identify as emo may engage in self-harm, including cutting, at any time of day or night. This behavior is a sign of deeper emotional distress and should be taken seriously. It is important to seek help from a mental health professional if you or someone you know is struggling with self-harm tendencies.
Yes, that's the point.
Yes. There are emos that self harm, however, not all self harmers are emo. Self harmers are not greatly prone to any specific appearance of person, however emos are given the strong stereotype that, if they are emo, they MUST be self harming. This is not true. The class smarty, the popular guy on the football team, the emo chick in the corner, the average in-style guy... They can all be self harmers.
No, But REAL emos almost always cut themselves. Some don't, but only a very few.
Most are depressed, feel worthless, are bipolar, feel unimportant, etc. The style often correlates with self harm, and vice versa, however, as most trends or behaviors, the stereotype does not hold true. Some are truly depressed with good reason, some are cringe-worthy with no reason to do such a thing, and some are only in the style because they like it. Not all emos self harm, not all self harmers are emos.
Emo's are just a likely to die as the next person. If they self harm (not all emo's do) to a certain extent then yes.
No because if your a wanna be then you think emo is cutting your self its enot (well some emos do but you dont have to) some people do that because their under steerse or w/e but they are other ways to not cut your self and feel better so all you emo that cut your self sont just find a better way that you wont hurt your slef!!!!
Emos may wear long sleeves to cover up self-harm scars or to express their personal style and individuality. Some emos also prefer the aesthetic of long sleeves as it can create a sense of comfort or security.
Well, it depends on what you write. I have seen Emo pictures where Emos have written things like "death" and "suicide" on themselves. If you do that, people might think of you as Emo, but Emos are most known for being emotional and for self-harm. E.g. cutting themselves
by pening on their self
Self-harm in children can be a coping mechanism for emotional distress, difficulty expressing feelings, or seeking attention. It can lead to physical injury, scarring, and infection. Children who self-harm may also be at risk for developing more serious mental health conditions and continued self-harming behaviors if not addressed early and appropriately.
Emos? Cause we do.
