Whether England is more expensive depends where you live now. There are cheaper places to live and there are more expensive places to live. Also it depends on which part of England. Things like much of our food and petrol (gas) have to be imported so are more expensive than places where they are easily obrainable. Many other places have better weather to support agriculture.
