Hate speeches against specific individuals and groups of people are almost always reprehensible. I cannot imagine a situation where hate speech against a person, national group, ethnic group, or religious group. Listening to other speeches is a good way to learn about different ways of delivering your message - different people have different styes. Some will use humor, some use facts, others use stories and quotes to illustrate their point. By listening to others, especially speakers that are good communicators, you can improve your own speeches by figuring out what elements of their style actually fit within your own. When speaking it is important to be genuine - don't try to be funny if that isn't your personality. Once you find the style that fits your personality your speeches will never be the same.
