As a human being, our goal is to answer these two questions - who am I and why am I here? To answer the first question who am I, we must first answer the question who am I not. I am not this body that is constantly changing. I am not this body that will die and return to dust. I am not even the mind, where it is, I cannot find. I am not the ego that says I. I am the power that is alive within. I am the Divine Spirit, the Soul, the Atman. The purpose of my existence as a human being is to overcome my ignorance, to realize the truth of who I am, the Divine Soul, to be liberated from the cycle of death and rebirth and to be united with the Divine. This is my purpose on earth. This is why I have been given a human birth.
