There are alit of organizations out there that helps alot if homeless people but its just temporary they will help find jobs and housing also and them there are alot of churches as well that helps people in need!

What you should donate to shelters and homeless people and all of those sort of things are, money, clothes, food. But you are probably wondering what type of things to donate to them like what type of clothes or something like that. First of all for clothes you should donate things that you have out grown or don't use anymore or don't intend on wearing again. and don't just give them something that you don't want because it's ripped or has tons of stains on it. Give them something they deserve. Like what if you were the one that needed those donations?You would probably want better right? So give them those kind of things. And not just clothes, you can give them, shoes, scarves, hats, ear muffs,etc. All sorts of things. Okay you can not only donate clothes but you can go over there to whatever shelter or homeless person you are trying to help or soup kitchen and give them food. Give them a good supplies of food. And you can also go over to the shelter president of it and give them money and funding to make it a better place. I hope that this answer helps!

Homelessness is a huge problem no matter what city or state that you live in. Homeless shelters can provide the homeless the resources that people need to build their lives back. Homeless shelters not only provide the less fortunate a place to sleep, hot meals but can also provide job training and clothing. Some of the shelters also offer drug counseling for those that are dependent on drugs. Addiction can be a leading cause of losing jobs, housing and finances. Due to the overwhelming amount of foreclosures and the economy, there are many shelters that have waiting lists. This can be disheartening to the homeless in need. Some shelters offer a limited time stay as the need and turnover rate increase. Most cities have a Health and Human Services Department that can assist in the homeless locating a shelter. Depending on whether you are a man, woman or family, there is a place for everyone. The biggest feat to overcome is asking and seeking help. Mens Shelters Some men are exposed to rough lives. Some men are victims of domestic abuse. It is not always the women. There are shelters that are strictly for men that can assist in housing, clothing, and expenses as well as education and job training. Womens Shelters The majority of domestic abuse is committed on women. There are many womens shelters that can provide the same benefits as a mens shelter as well as counseling and therapy to aid in the healing process from the abuse. Family Shelters Not all shelter needs stem from abuse. Some families face hard times and just need some help. There are shelters that can provide families with clothing, beds, food, counseling and schooling for the young children. If you are in need of a safe shelter, have the courage to open up and ask for help. You can contact your local fire station, police department as well as hospital for referrals and resources.

What would you wear if you were homeless in the middle ages?
you wouldn't care, you would just find something that keeps you warm and wear all the time. You would probably wear just raggedy clothes.
