There are some reasons behind high unemployment rate in Bangladesh. At first, Bangladesh is a country of 1.6 billion people, so it becomes impossible to give job to all people. Then there are a lot of uneducated people in our country who can't effort themselves to avail expected jobs. Still a lot of people of our country are engaged in agriculture but our agriculture side become affected every year for natural disasters. There are also some other reasons of high unemployment rate in the country. Still technical education does not get priority in the country, so people usually fails to get good jobs. There are also some other reasons like social prejudices which pull them to join in some particular jobs.

There are many reasons of unemployment in Bangladesh. Some main reasons are given below.

Excessive dependence on agriculture: People of Bangladesh are still depending on agriculture at a high amount. About 70% people are still directly depending on agriculture.

Lack of proper industrialization: Industrial sector of Bangladesh are still lagging behind. So the opportunity of employment in industrial sector is very low.

Lack of proper education: There are is lack of proper education or vocational education in Bangldesh. Most of the people are getting traditional education. As a result the young generations are loses their practical skill.

Others: Lack of infrastructure, capitalism, high rate of population growth, poverty, lack of proper training, lack of capital, corruption etc are some others highlighted reasons of unemployment problem in Bangladesh.
