What is nonbio degradation?
Non-biodegradation refers to the inability of a substance to be broken down by natural biological processes, such as those carried out by microorganisms like bacteria and fungi. As a result, non-biodegradable materials, such as certain plastics and heavy metals, can persist in the environment for extended periods, leading to pollution and ecological harm. Unlike biodegradable materials, which decompose and integrate back into the ecosystem, non-biodegradable substances can accumulate and disrupt natural processes.
