For the one being bullied, without any help, it may

  • Lower their self esteem
  • Make them less trustful of people
  • Make them more reclusive
  • Make them depressed and/or suicidal
  • Push them to be more aggressive toward others

And so on.

For the one doing the bullying, without any intervening, it may

  • Make them feel they are justified
  • Push them to bully others to get their way or become more popular
  • Make them believe bullying is the correct outlet to anger or frustration
  • Drastically affect their future social skills for the worst
  • One day drive them to be outcasts

And so on.
